Day 6

The sun was just peeking out over the mountains. Through the fog shrouded haze, a duck carefully stalked up to a plate of Evil Ben Snacks placed in the middle of the street. The duck looked first right, then left, and upon seeing the coast clear, pounced on the plate. A trap went off and a box suddenly landed ontop of the duck capturing the poor bird. [info]evilben clones appeared out of nowhere and announced, "By order of the MAGISTRATE, you have been sequestered!"

Meanwhile, despite all the commotion with the duck, the villagers were gathering and sure enough [info]blackbeardin was missing. Sadly they walked over to his cottage and found it destroyed. His corpse was mauled and lying dead on the front porch. An empty bottle of ketchup lay next to him along with a note that said, "I added seasoning in preparation for your arrival."

As the crowd looked inside the house, they saw astrology charts and other divination books. With heavy hearts they turned to head back towards the town hall when [info]maniakes walked up with a bubbling healing potion. "I'm here to save the SEER!" he said cheerfully.

"Um, well aren't you a bit late, and well dead?" [info]devil_engine stated.

"What?" [info]maniakes replied. He looked down at his see through form and looked shocked. "Damn it, I'm dead, figures." and his form faded from view.

SUMMARY: [info]blackbeardin the SEER is DEAD!

Secondly, I didn't "start a dogpile" on Chessie, I simply voted my gut. I saw a dogpile get formed, and I switched from Evilben to Chessie. What can we really do this game, but work on hunches. And, well, now we can lynch me cause the Seer said so.

Just getting one step closer to the end, though. Nader counts as a villager for victory... and it'd be nice to have another few buffer snacks left. Makellan and H&H could use some company on the "tasty cause they're villagers list." But, that's assuming I live out the day. Which I figure I won't.

I can't stop you from lynching me. i can just tell you you're making a mistake.

Sorry Dragonattack, but even if we spare you now, once we find and lynch two more wolves, we'd have to lynch you as the 4th one just in case. So, vote dragonattack.

Apologies to blackbeardin for doubting you, your strategy was just so unconventional I was suspicious.

Yeah, I figured. But what can I do to convince people? Nothing. What can I do to save myself? Nothing. So, I might as well see if people will listen at all. But I don't expect them to... Actually, I probably wouldn't in your circumstances... Ah well. At least I got to be really excited about the game for a week. i'll see you all in the next run, probably...

Oh and also, are there any remaining specials who made have useful information? If so, you should always try and leave clues in case you get eaten, so we can go back and figure out whatever you knew.

Actually.... I have a theory. if parzanese is still around... 7 is a mathematical majority for this number of villagers. If we hit 7 on me fast enough, want to just start another night/day quick? Or is that against the spirit of the game? Like, say, Start Night at 1:30, Day at 2:00 if it works for the specials...

Ok, so looking back through [info]baronlaw's posts, it looks like he was voting pretty consistently for me and [info]hungryandhollow for the first three days.

[info]gorillashaman has voted against [info]baronlaw enough and started what looked to be a pretty effective voting block that was disturbed by wolfish activity on the part of [info]dragonattack and [info]hungryandhollow, followed eventually by [info]evilben, [info]darkjuan (who is that, anyway?), and lastly, [info]gorillashaman, but I think he was just confused.

Oh, and thank you Magistrate for sequestering me on a day when I would have been lynched before being SEEN.

Well, [info]hungryandhollow was cleared by the Seer before he died and has admitted he is Cupid.

Unfortunately, most of his first nights' picks were apparently eaten or lynched so we only know that three people for sure are villagers (you, hungry, and myself).

Well, thanks to Cambler and H&H, I think my work here is done :D.

I am in fact a werewolf. To all those who were eaten: You were tasty.

Now that I'm gonna get lynched, at least I can take credit for the whole misinformation gambit. The fact that we were crossfiring the seer was just added bonus. The real intent was to make every day feel as much like Day 1 as possible. Which was very effective, right up until the seer got lucky, twice. Maybe call it the Dragon Attack? ;p

Now you folks are stuck with the remains. Have fun, and remember just how tasty you all are.

I'm gonna not post any more, cause I have nothing else to contribute to this town. In fact, for the sake of unanimity... I VOTE DRAGONATTACK, too.

Suddenly the duck ran into the town hall. In one wing it held a make shift gun carved out of a bar of soap. Suddenly three [info]evilbens crashed into the room shouting "There he is!" and "Get him!" A scuffle soon ensued with feathers flying everywhere. The duck flew out of the room with the clones in fast pursuit.

I'm really wondering about [info]darkjuan. He's been waaaaay too quiet the whole game. When he has voted, he's either had no justification at all, or voted with the wolves. He never unvoted H&H after the SEER recanted his guess.

I've been eyeing the folks with a consistently low number of posts, like flipperchaz and darkjuan.

It is not unreasonable to suspect that at least one wolf is "laying low", especially since the two confirmed wolves were fairly vocal.

Highly likely makellan gets eaten tonight (known villager hypothesis).

Possible hungryandhollow gets eaten the next night, although I suspect the wolves may let him live in the hopes that he leaks the identity of the lovers.

I suspect in a field of four, at least one wolf is "laying low". The "average" number of posts per living player is 46.16, with a standard deviation of 35.09.

This puts the following players more than a standard deviation below average in post counts:

Highly likely at least one of those is a WOLF or the SORCEROR

Well, much as I'd like to stay alive, I don't think it's likely I'll reveal the lovers. I'm still holding out for a lover win someday, unlikely as that may be.

But yea, I'm a chatty one, so maybe I'm biased, but Flipperchaz seems a bit sketch to me. I think Devil_engine at least has the "i'm a n00b" excuse, but I don't recall an explanation from Flipperchaz as to his silence.

Suddenly before the villagers eyes, the dirt floor of the town hall started bumping up slightly, then a small plastic spoon broke through the earth and began widening a small hole in the middle of the room. Finally a duck's head burst through. Quack! It looked around the room and crawled forth from a small tunnel it had apparently dug with a plastic spoon. Quack!
